User-centered Apparel Design Project
For this project, I was tasked with building an already existing garment and trying to make it more functional for its target consumer. I chose to make improvements to Carhartt’s Double Knee Workpant.
When doing my research for this project I tried to get the best customer testimonial as possible. To accomplish this I conducted interviews with blue-collar workers that I knew and read customer reviews on Carhartt’s website. This research helped me understand some of the common issues the pants have.
