“Take a Hike” S/S 25 Mens Outdoor
For this project, I created a 5 look collection for men ages 18-25 for S/S 2025. I took this opportunity to create something that I would love to wear everyday.

Here is some of the research I did prior to doing my design work. I was very intrigued by the trend #ImaginaryGarden and its dark take on natural colors. I thought this may play well with an outdoor line...

Depicted here are two of initial mockups of my designs. On the left I have a "fishing" look that was inspired by classic fishing jackets and blended with a military bomber. On the right I have drawn a simple outfit with a cropped fitting t-shirt and straight leg jean with pointed western style belt loops.

*On the left we have a hiking outfit with military inspired cotton smock with adjustable ties at the hood, neck, and waist. I paired this with a loose fitting cargo with many differently sized pockets for whatever you may be carrying. *On the right I have v-neck sweater made with a wool boucle that would incorporate many of my theme colors. This is worn with a simple flat front chino short.

My final look is the most dressy with a classic oxford shirt and jean that I intended on making with an interesting pattern.
Above I have all of the patterns I made with fiber contents of the fabric in my designs.
This project was a fun experience and a great way to end my sophomore year. I used this project to create a collection for the adventurous college student who spends their free time exploring nature rather than partying. I drew lots of inspiration from trends like #Lo-FiExplorer and #RetroQuaint, but at the foundation, I designed this based on what I like to wear when I’m outdoors.
